Louise C. Butler - Obituary

ouise C. Butler, age 78, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 in Clinton, MD. She was born on June 29, 1941 in Washington, DC to the late George O. and Martha Robertson Bynum. Louise retired after over 30 years of teaching grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade from the PG County Public School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottoway Nervis Butler III in 1991. She is survived by her three children, Teresa Butler (Roy) Washington, Katherine Butler and Harold Butler; her sisters, Karen Balma and Beverly Day; her grandchildren, Roy O. Washington III, Marcy L. Bowers and Gabrielle A. Washington; her sister-in-law, Carol A. Gray; her brothers-in-law, Arthur Butler and Robert Butler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a drive through virtual visitation on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD. Please follow the cones to the back of the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held and the interment will take place at a later date.
