ouise Dobbs DiPalermo, of Annapolis, died on June 22, 2014. Born January 29, 1915 in Houston, TX, she worked briefly for State and Federal Governments. Louise was known for her cheerful and positive attitude towards life. Her memberships included the Catholic Daughters of America, Edgewater-Parole Homemakers Club and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Mrs. DiPalermo enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveling. She was also an accomplished oil and watercolor painter, with pieces winning ribbons at the AA County Fair and the Kent Island Federation of Art.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent DiPalermo in 2006; her first husband, Lawrence Dobbs in 1980; a grandson, James A. Bryant; and two brothers, Al and Jack Harper.
Louise is survived by four children, Martin Dobbs of Annapolis, "Pat" Patricia Church of Annapolis, Eugene Dobbs of Williamsport, PA, and Diana Green of Montgomery, TX. Also surviving are three step-children, and a combined total of 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to Louise's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, on Tuesday, June 24 from 12pm until time her funeral service begins at 1pm. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
