Lucile Hamm - Obituary

ucile Hamm, “Lucy”, “Lu Lu”, 92, a resident of West River and previously of Edgewater passed away on March 23, 2020 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Lucy was born on February 23, 1928 in Anson, Jones County, Texas to the late William T. and Nannie E. Dixon. She volunteered her time at Anne Arundel Medical Center and enjoyed playing Bingo and was a gifted seamstress and quilter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Archy De. Hamm, who died in 1995. Lucy is survived by her daughter, Nancy C. Powers of Roanoke, VA, her grandchildren; Garrett M. Beekman of Pheonix, AZ, Tina L. Riccio of West River, MD and Gayleen E. Beekman. She is also survived by 3 great and 3 great-great grandchildren.
