Lucille Lott - Obituary

ucille "Nana" Lott passed away peacefully on December 6, 2014 at her home in Edgewater. She was born in Jersey City, NJ on July 30, 1928 and lived in Hyattsville before moving to Edgewater in 2009. Lucille was a member of the College Park Moose Lodge, Greenbelt American Legion, and the Knights of Pythias in Edgewater. In her younger years, Lucille enjoyed duckpin bowling, and later in life enjoyed visiting the casinos in Atlantic City, playing the Lottery and card games, and a betting on anything from football to NASCAR. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles Lott and her sisters, Dorothy Carrol and Marion Wilkerson. She is survived by her son, Chuck Lott of Churchton; two daughters, Jenny Arnold of Edgewater and Ruth Carpenter of Ocean City; 5 grandchildren, Lee Arnold and Chuck Lott, Jr., both of Edgewater, Brett Lott of Friendship, Chris Camden of Chester and Angela Arnold also of Edgewater; 7 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Greg, Gabe, Tea, Lauren, Alexis and Adalynn. Friends are invited to Lucille's Life Celebration from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 11 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 1pm at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD. An online guest book is available by clicking the tab on this page.
