Macario V. Reyes - Obituary

n Thursday, February 6, 2020, Macario V. Reyes joined his maker. He was survived by his wife Cresencia and children Teresa Roberts, Cristina Hoang, Carmencita Reyes, Gabriel Reyes, and Liza Balzer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, sisters Rosa Cuellar and Fely Landicho, and many other relatives and friends. Macario was born on April 10, 1935 to Anatolio Reyes and EpifaniaVenasquez in Pampanga, Philippines. He worked for over 30 years as a mechanical engineer in PLDT. Mac was an active member of Couples for Christ of Southern Maryland and served the Lord until the end of his earthly life. He was a dedicated, loving and beloved husband, father, and grandfather. His warm smile, words of wisdom, calm demeanor, and subtle humor will be missed by his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Macario's Life Celebration at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD. The viewing is on Tuesday, February 11 & Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7800 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 10 a.m. Interment follows at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD.
