M

argaret Cornelia Beall Adams, age 96, formerly of Bradbury Heights & Camp Springs MD died on Monday, November 14, 2011. She was the 1st of eight children of the late Richard C. “Dick” Beall, Sr. and the late Olive Alsop Beall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Herbert Adams, Sr., her brother, Richard C. Beall Jr. and sister’s Eleanor “Bottie” Vance, Doris Iacone, and brother Charles “Buddy” Beall. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Crawford and her husband Paul, her daughter Margaret Ellen “Peggy” Slates and her husband Sam, and her son William H. Adams Jr., Her sisters, Marie Suit, Anne Fichera, and Dorothy Bennett. She also survived by her grandchildren Ralph E. Darling III, William H. “Bert” Adams III, Sarah Adams Oliveria, and Kenneth “Kenny” Adams. She is also survived by great-grand Children Kayla, Gabrielle, Rachel & Hannah Darling and her namesake Margaret Ellen “Maggie” Oliveria, 10 nieces and nephews, 7 great-nieces and nephews, 1 great-great-niece and 1 great-great-nephew. Margaret will be remembered for the love she gave us and wonderful memories she has left us with. We will never forget the family Christmas Parties and Family Picnic’s she hosted at her house. She loved her neighborhood family on Longview Drive and the memories that will be cherished forever by all. She loved to cook and loved to plant the backyard flower and vegetable garden every summer with her husband Bill. Margaret was a devoted member of Bell’s United Methodist Church. Camp Springs MD, she was member of the United Methodist Women & kitchen crew. She was a proud member of the Homemakers Club. She loved to read and was a member of local book club. Relatives and friends are invited to Margaret's Life Celebration on Thursday, November 17 from 12noon until time of service at 1pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bells United Methodist Church, 6016 Allentown Rd., Suitland, MD 20746.
