Margaret Alex - Obituary

LEX, Margaret “Peggy” Margaret “Peggy” Alex, 85, of Annapolis, MD died at her home on Friday, October 30, 2015. She was born on May 12, 1930 in Brewer, Maine to the late Alfred and Grace (Flaherty) Kelly. Peggy was a graduate of John Bapst High School in 1948. On June 20, 1959, she married Peter S. Alex while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force. Peggy was a proud Irish-Catholic woman with a kind and wonderful soul. She will be known as a loving, caring wife and a wonderful mother. Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Kelly Fuller and a niece, Stephanie Jernigan Baker. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Peter S. Alex; a son, Peter J. Alex of Annapolis; a daughter, Elena Maria Duplessis of Lothian; a niece Denise Darling Talbot of Steillacoom, WA; a nephew Jeffery Mark Fuller of San Diego, CA; a great niece, Grace Baker of Salisbury, MD, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
