Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" Ford, 97, a 10-year resident of Brightview Senior Living in Edgewater, MD, and previously of Rockville, MD, died at her home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

Born in Washington, D.C., on December 20, 1926, she graduated from Dunbarton College of the Holy Cross in Washington, D.C. Betty worked for Electronic Data Systems and was a longtime member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Rockville, MD.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Robert Ford.

Betty is survived by her four sons, Stephen Ford of Mt. Holly, NJ, Neil Ford of Waldorf, MD, Richard and Eileen Ford of Media, PA, and Paul and Lynn Ford of Staunton; VA; six grandchildren, Timothy, Daniel, Joseph, Brianna, and Kathleen Ford, and Colleen Hennesey; and three great-grandchildren, Mae and Colin Ford and Liam Hennessey.
