Margaret Kackritz - Obituary

argaret Estelle (Nolan) Kackritz, a 44-year resident of Davidsonville, MD and previously of Bowie, MD, died on November 17, 2015. She was 87. She was born on December 4, 1927 in Baltimore, MD to the late Estelle and Bernard Nolan. Margaret worked at the Cannon Shoe Company, where she met her husband of 67 years, Gerhart Kackritz. She then worked for Washington Wholesale Distribution and the Mlobe Corporation as an accountant/bookkeeper. Margaret enjoyed doing genealogy for her family and husband and watching her great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two brothers, Louis and Bernie Nolan. Margaret is survived by her two nephews, Anthony "Tony" Ebel and Gregory Ebel, both of Davidsonville, MD; and one niece, Karen (Ebel) Seen of Davidsonville, MD. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Sunday, November 22 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, November 23 at 10am. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
