argaret Kidd Williams, 82, a twenty eight year resident of Heritage Harbour (Annapolis) and formerly of Rosecraft Park, MD passed away at her home on February 15 of Pancreatic Cancer after a three month illness.
Born in Washington, D.C. on May 20, 1925. She is a 1943 graduate of Coolidge High School in Washington, D.C.. She was employed as a Budget Analyst for United States Coast Guard in Washington, D.C., she was also an Administrative Assistant for the Joint Board on Science Education from 1960-67. She retired in 1967. She met her husband of 62 years in a military hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she was working and he was recovering from injuries sustained in WWII. Her memberships included Calvary United Methodist Church, where she was a pew tender.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Leo Williams; her children, Steven Leo Williams of The Villages, FL and Patricia Kneisly-White of Crofton, MD; one sister Marjory Duffy of Denver, Colorado; her grandchildren, Kyle, David and Jordon Kneisly, Heather Fein of Leesburg, FL and her great-granddaughter Coby Fein of Leesburg, FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Williams' Life Celebration on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 4 to 7pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037 where funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
