Margaret M. Zagami - Obituary

argaret Marie Zagami, "Peggy," a resident of Cantonment, FL and formerly of Crofton, MD, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the Rebecca Fortney Inpatient Care Center in Pasadena, MD. Peggy was 62. She was born March 5, 1954, in Washington, DC to the late Adam P. and Agnes L. Zagami. Peggy was a graduate of Crossland High School in Prince George's County. She was an avid Washington Redskins and University of Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Peggy had a great love for music and had a beautiful singing voice. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family. Her world revolved around the love of her life and pride and joy, her son, Louis. Peggy is survived by her son, Louis Zagami of Cantonment, FL; four siblings, Adam James (Synthia ) Zagami of Jacksonville, FL, Joella (Gailen) David of Cantonment, FL, Harry (Deborah) Zagami of Chester, MD and Tina Bender (Kurt) of Crofton, MD. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a great-great-niece. Friends and family may call at George Kalas Funeral Home 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Sunday, November 20 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel, 826 Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD on Monday, November 21 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
