argaret J. “Peg” Redd, 76, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, MD, passed away on November 15, 2021 at the Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena. Born on December 10, 1944 in Annapolis to the late Samuel and Marian Brown, Peg graduated from St. Mary’s Elementary School and High School and earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She retired from the Maryland judicial system following a rewarding 35-year career. In addition to being a lifelong parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Peg was also a member of the Junior League of Annapolis. She enjoyed reading and her book club, and was always ready for a party. Most of all, Peg loved spending time with her family, especially her three grandsons. In addition to her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her brother, William Brown, and two sisters, Dorothy White and Janice Garvey. She is survived by her loving children, Nolan (Kelly) Redd of Arnold, MD and Kristin (Steven) Dickerson of Raleigh, NC; three brothers, James, David and Robert Brown; one sister, Moyne Gross; and three grandsons she adored, Trigg Dickerson and Tommy and Charlie Redd. Friends are invited to celebrate Peg’s life with her family on Monday, November 22 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Mass of Resurrection will be offered on Tuesday, November 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. Burial will be private.
