Margie Dickenson - Obituary

argie Dell Dickenson, 88, of Edgewater, died of natural causes Aug. 31 at the South River Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 14, 1919, in Dungannon, Va., Mrs. Dickenson was a homemaker and an active member of Faith Independent Baptist Church in Bowie for more than 30 years. Her interests included gardening. She was the widow of James Edward Dickenson, who died in 1983; and mother of Sandra Kay McDaniels, who died in 1992. Surviving are two sons, Lucky Garrette of College Park and Eddie Lee Dickenson of Edgewater; one daughter, Deanna Sue Kellermann of West River; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. The funeral service and burial are private.
