argie Margot Haag, age 75, a 37 year resident of Annapolis, MD, passed away March 12, 2010 at Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood, MD. She was born in Wolfskhalen, Germany on July 14, 1934, and immigrated to the United States in 1961. Margie and her family spent the first two decades traveling not only throughout the United States but also to the orient, while in support of her husband who was serving in the United States army. When her husband Joseph retired from the army, they settled in Annapolis in 1973. During her years in Annapolis she managed various restaurants catering to the local clientele. Margie enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. Her many fine assorted cookies and tortes, were greatly enjoyed by family and friends who took great pleasure in eating them. She was an accomplished bowler, achieving even the perfect 300 game. Most of all she enjoyed traveling in the family motor home with family and friends, visiting various amusement parks throughout the country. She was also an ardent collector of Hummel figurines which she cherished immensely. Margie will be forever remembered by her loving family and the many friends she had made a lifelong commitment with. We will each miss her and think of her often in our prayers. Margie is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Haag, Jr.; 3 sons, Roland Haag of Odenton, MD, Fred Haag of Crownsville, MD and Peter Haag of Pikesville, MD; a daughter, Patricia Levitt of Severn, MD, and eight grand-children, all of whom reside in Maryland. Friends are invited to Margie's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Saturday, March 20 at 1:00pm. Interment private.
