Marguerite Durm - Obituary

arguerite E. “Betty” Durm, 80, a 28 year resident of Harwood died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, May 24. Born September 3, 1931 to the late William and Marguerite Cadell in Annapolis, Betty graduated Annapolis High School in 1948. She worked for the State of Maryland’s income tax division before becoming co-owner/operator of County Antenna in Harwood. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed taking care of her house and her family. Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, Howard Durm; one son, Deane and his wife Donna Durm of Gambrills; one brother, William Cadell of Arnold and two grandsons, Eric and Kevin Durm. Friends are invited to Betty’s Life Celebration on Monday, May 28 from 5-8PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29 at 10AM. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
