Marian Cibak - Obituary

enise Cibak, age 77, a seven year resident of Edgewater, MD and formerly a resident of Temple Hills, MD for 30 years died on Sunday, November 15 at the University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore, MD of natural causes. Born on November 3, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, Denise was a graduate of East Pittsburgh High School and worked at Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, MD for more than 20 years in the school's cafeteria. Denise was the beloved wife of the late Edward G. Cibak; mother of Kim, James and Craig Cibak and Dana Carpenter; mother in law of Deirdre and Joanna Cibak and Dwayne Carpenter; grandmother of Kyle, Kristen, Kevin, Matthew, Justin, Benjamin, Michele and Joseph. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Friends are invited to Denises Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service and interment will be held in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
