Marie Dolores Bishop - Obituary

arie Orisini Bishop of Oxon Hill, Maryland passed away June 23, 2018 at Hospice of Charles County. She was born May 7th, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Joseph and Lena Orsini. Marie will be remembered for her love for cooking, crafts, and gardening. She had a great love for her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to have all the kids over for family gatherings and holidays. She was famous for her home-made Italian dinners. “General Hospital” was her favorite show to watch. Crabs, crab cakes, and seafood were her delight. She is survived by her husband, Donald Bishop, her children: Debbie, Theresa, Mary Anne, Earle, Steve, Gary, Randy, Bradley, Richard, Anita, and Petie (deceased). She is also survived by and loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Bishop's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Services at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Fort Lincoln cemetery.
