Marie Ann Grace, 76, a resident of Annapolis, MD, passed away November 16, 2021, at Charter Senior Living in Annapolis.

Marie was born on April 1, 1945, in Washington, DC to the late Edward and Mary Scanlon. She was a 1963 graduate of Elizabeth Ann Seton High School in Bladensburg, MD. In 1969 she married Raymond J. Grace, III. The couple lived in Cheverly, MD, and later moved to Crofton, MD when the children were younger. As the children grew older the family moved to Davidsonville and finally settled in 1998 in Riva, MD.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond J. Grace, III, her siblings; Edward Scanlon, and sisters-in-law, June and Joyce Scanlon.

Marie is survived by her children Brian Grace, Mary McCarthy, and her husband Chris and Melissa Patterson, her siblings, John Scanlon, Susie, and Sonny Hawley, and Melissa & Chet Hebble. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Grace, Chloe, Emerson, Madigan and Sullivan McCarthy, and Jack Patterson.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marie's life on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 5 to 7 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 2 pm.

Inurnment with her husband Ray, at Arlington National Cemetery, will be at a later date.
