Marie Waters - Obituary

arie M. Waters "Ree Ree", 93, a ten year resident of Riva, died Monday, February 10 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a lengthy illness. "Ree Ree" was born June 20, 1920 in Baltimore. She was later employed by Leaver Brothers during WWII. In her spare time she enjoyed drawing and being around her family, especially all of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dolphin Waters. She is survived by two sons, James Waters of Waldorf and Steven Waters of Capital Heights; two daughters, Martha Mickey of Riva and Susan Smith of Clendenin, WV; one sister, Mary Uhland of Catonsville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Friends are invited to Marie's Life Celebration on Friday, February 14 from 4-6PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, where a funeral service will start at 6PM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
