Marjorie Boin Campbell - Obituary

arjorie Boin Campbell "Marge", 87, a resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Easton, MD for twenty years, died on Tuesday, March 7 due to complications associated with dementia. Born on May 13, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Clement and Julia Boin, Marge grew up in Florham Park, NJ. She and her husband, Frank Campbell later moved to West Caldwell, NJ, where they raised their children. Marge worked as an office manager with the Speedsteel Corp and in 1993 she and Frank moved to Easton, MD. Her best friend, Shirley Brodhead and her husband, Ed also moved to Easton so that they could maintain their friendship. Marge loved the eastern shore and she loved staying active. She enjoyed playing bridge, entertaining her friends and was a member of the Woman's Club of Easton, the Izaak Walton League and the Presbyterian Church of Easton. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Campbell in 1997. They were married for 49 years. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Vernon) Stricklin of Annapolis and Richard (Vicky) Campbell of Columbia Falls, ME; her grandchildren, Jared and Derek; her great-grandchildren, Samantha and Thomas and many friends.Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate Marge's life from 2 to 5 pm on Monday, March 13 at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 14 at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
