Marjorie Anne White - Obituary

arjorie "Margie" Anne White, 85, a fifty-six year resident of Capitol Heights, MD, died on Friday, May 19, 2017 in Annapolis, MD, following a two week battle with pneumonia and heart complications. Born on January 21, 1932, in Washington, D.C., Margie enjoyed horse racing, baseball, and football. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Robert Benjamin White and her sisters, Betty Sheridan and Dorothy Kolb. Margie is survived by her daughter, Brenda Martin and her husband, Victor; her son, Robert S. White; her brothers, Bernard Taylor, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO and Roger Taylor of Ocean City, MD; her five grandchildren, Melissa Canter and her significant other, Jennifer Pyles, Christina Bowman and her husband, Daniel Bowman, Sr., Chasity Menna, William White, Amanda Martin and her significant other, Timothy McCloskey and her seven great-grandchildren, Joseph Canter III, Ashley Canter, Treasure Menna, Sarah Bowman, Katelynn Menna, Daniel Bowman, Jr. and Brycen McCloskey. Friends are invited to celebrate Margie's life on Wednesday, June 14 from 10 am until her funeral service begins at 11 am at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
