ark Harry Hefflin With heavy hearts, the Heflin family regrets to announce the passing of our beloved Mark. The most loving son, brother, father, grandfather, family member, and friend passed suddenly on Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born on October 8, 1960, in Washington, D.C. to Lawson and Glenda Heflin. Those who knew Mark lost a shining light in their lives. He had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul and the most infectious laugh that would fill your heart. Mark will be missed every day by his mother, Glenda, brothers Sonny, Willie, and Teddy; sisters, Dorothy, Wendy and Ginny; sons, Drew and Ryan; eight beautiful grandchildren; his loyal four-legged best friend, Bendi; and loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many great friends. We know Mark is now with his father, Lawson Heflin, wife, Stephanie Heflin, and son, Mark Jr., and is loved here on earth as he is in heaven. A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, at 1:00pm at Kalas Funeral Home located at 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, Maryland.
