Mark Douglas Owens - Obituary

WENS, Mark D., 56, of Temple Hills, Maryland, died August 22, 2017 after a long illness. He was the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn Owens of Temple Hills, Maryland. He was also predeceased by his stepmother, Helen Owens. He is survived by two brothers, Gary Owens and wife, Beverly, of Orlando, Florida, Bruce Owens of Lawrence, Kansas. He is also survived by one stepbrother Stephen Robinson and wife, Rosalie, of Phoenix, Arizona; three stepsisters, Sandra Skinner of Emporia, Virginia, Jan Opalko and husband, Rick, of Temple Hills, Maryland, and Rita Austin and husband Kit, of Verona, Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. A genuinely gentle and very special young man, Mark's sweet spirit will be sorely missed. The family would like to express their appreciation to Adventist Home Assistance who provided excellent care for Mark these last few years with special recognition to Faye Gary, Jane Ntah, Mary Rose Calvert, Hospice of the Chesapeake, Capital Caring Hospice and the many others that were blessed to care for him as was the family through them.
