Martha P. Caparell - Obituary

artha P. Caparell "Ya", 87, a resident of Kingstowne, VA and previously of Hillcrest Heights, MD died of heart failure on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Alexandria Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 20, 1929 in West Virginia to the late Lester and Mary Alice Pitsenbarger, Martha was a realtor with Long & Foster Real Estate for many years and was a member of Corkran United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, George Caparell; her brothers, Herbert, Paul and Berlie; and her sisters, Erma and Mary Florence. She is survived by her devoted children, Sandy of Kingstowne, VA, Vickie and her husband, Mark of Burke, VA and Nick and his wife, JeeYoung of Gaithersburg, MD; her loving brother, Everett Pitsenbarger; her cherished grandsons, Matt and his wife, Kelsey, Alex and Nicky, her goddaughter, Anna Dimitrou and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to celebrate Martha's life on Saturday, February 18 from 1 pm until her funeral service begins at 3pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD.
