Martha Crutchfield - Obituary

artha Duckett Crutchfield, 97, a 9-year resident of Davidsonville and previously of Fincastle, VA died at her home on March 27, 2012. Born January 18, 1915 in Washington, D.C., she was employed as a secretary with the E.P.A. in Washington, D.C. in the 1970's and was a mother "extraordinaire". Martha has been one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1942 and loved sharing the good news of the Kingdom. She was predeceased in death by a son, C.L. Butler, Jr. Martha is survived by 3 daughters, Judy Bell and her husband, Jim of Baton Rouge, LA, Janet Ruoff and her late husband, Dale of Java, VA and Julia Bussler and her husband, Warren of Davidsonville. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. Friends are invited to Martha's Life Celebration on Saturday, April 7 at 1pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 65 Tarragon Lane, Edgewater. Interment private.
