Martha Elizabeth Morgan - Obituary

artha Elizabeth Morgan, 84, a resident of Davidsonville, MD for five years and previously of Upper Marlboro and Union Bridge, MD, died of alzheimer’s disease on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 22, 1936 in Washington, DC to the late Andrew and Thelma Davis Jameson, Martha was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. Before retiring, she most recently worked as a secretary with Washington Woodworking. Martha was an avid crossword puzzler and also enjoyed reading and ceramics. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James T. Morgan; her daughters, Deborah C. (Mark) Wilson and Andrea M. Morgan both of Davidsonville, MD and Kathleen M. (Steve) Kappes of Fairfax, VA; her brothers, Andrew R. and Francis Jameson; her grandchildren, Brent (Michelle), Thomas (Megan) and Patrick Wilson, Alex (Beth) Kappes, Christopher and Kyle Maxey and Erika Zavyalov and ten great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her son, Christopher P. Morgan and her siblings, David Lee and Richard Jameson, Mary Alice Weaver and Madeline Schumacher. Funeral services will be private.
