Martha R. Stone - Obituary

artha R. Stone, “Miss Martha”, a 55-year resident of the Loch Haven neighborhood in Edgewater, MD, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 25, 2020, at Sunrise of Annapolis. Born October 29, 1928, in Sharon, CT, to the late Walter and Marion Bell Rudin, she retired from the Savings Bond Division of the Treasury Department in Washington, DC following a 30-year career. Miss Martha was a longtime member and faithful part of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship in Davidsonville, MD, for 24 years. She loved her church and all her friends at CCF, painting, gardening, and dogs. Miss Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Harold P. Stone. Friends are invited to celebrate Miss Martha’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Thursday, October 29 from 5 to 7 pm. There will be limited seating at the funeral service which will be Friday, October 30, at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 W.
