Martin Reedy - Obituary

artin J. Reedy, 57, a resident of Edgewater, MD, died on Friday, January 29, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born May 5, 1958 in Riverdale, MD to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Ives) Reedy. Marty is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Georgeann nee Fragale; three daughters, Sara (David) Parker, Jacqueline (Bernard) Cowger, and Joey (Patrick) O’Connell; seven grandchildren, Grace, Reed, Brooks and Lila Parker, Marti Ann Cowger and Gavin and Pierce O’Connell as well as many other family and friends. Marty was a 1976 graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 26 and the Knights of Columbus, PG Council #2809 of College Park, MD. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Wednesday, February 3 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Jesus the Good Shepherd Church, 1601 W. Mt. Harmony Rd., Owings, MD on Thursday, February 4 at 11am. Interment private.
