Martin J. Riordan - Obituary

artin Joseph “Marty” Riordan, 55, a 3-year resident of Chesapeake Beach, MD, passed away on December 17, 2018. Born on April 22, 1963 in Washington, DC, Marty graduated from Crossland High School and Lincoln Tech. He was a car enthusiast and especially enjoyed racing his cars. Marty is survived by his loving wife, Valerie N. Riordan; three stepchildren, Sara Heisler and Lee Rupert, both of Calvert, MD and Cara Watson of Alabama; two brothers, Pat and Matt who reside in Maryland; two sisters, Kathy who resides in Florida and Eileen who resides in Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Marty’s life with his family at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until his memorial service begins at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
