Mary Davis - Obituary

ARY ELLEN "Duty" DAVIS, of Tall Timbers died January 6, 2013 in Mechanicsville. Born September 25, 1927 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Edna Mae (McDonough) and Paul Nasan Espina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William C. "Billy" Davis, her sons; James "Jimmy" Davis and Ronald "Ronnie" Davis, her brothers; George "Buddy" and Thomas "Sonny Boy" Espina, and sisters, Helen DeLeon, Blanche McGee, Thelma Smith, Nancy Sison and Betty Lou Espina. She is survived by her companion, Philip E. Hayden, her children, William "Billy" Davis (Becky), Michael Davis (Marie), Karen Smith (Joe), Robert "Bobby" Davis (Billie), Darla Breeden (late Ray Breeden) and Lori Calloway (Rhett), her sisters, Rosa Bautista, Elizabeth "Betty" Jobe, Juanita "Nita" Taylor (Joe), 38 grandchildren, 86 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren along with a large extended family. Friends are invited to Mary's Life Celebration on Tuesday, January 22, from 3-5 and 6-8pm at New Life Wesleyan Church, 9690 Shepherds Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646 where services will be held on Wednesday, January 23 at 10:30am.
