Mary Giuffreda - Obituary

ary E. Giuffreda, age 81, a resident of Edgewater, MD for more than fifty years died on Friday, September 9 at her residence. Born on December 10, 1929 in Washington, D.C., Mary was a homemaker for most of her life. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and bingo. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert J. Giuffreda, Sr. who died on July 7, 2000; two brothers, Daniel and Charles Hartnett and her sister, Joan Kern. Mary is survived by two daughters, Donna (Mike) Cullop of Brightwood, VA and Eugenia Giuffreda of Edgewater, MD; three sons, Joe (Kathy) Giuffreda of Zephyr Hills, FL, John Giuffreda of Stevensville, MD and Michael Ellis of North Beach, MD and five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to Mary’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Monday, September 12 from 6:00 to 8:00PM and on Tuesday, September 13 from 10:00AM until her funeral service begins at 11:00AM. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
