Mary Susan Gunza - Obituary

ary Ann Susan Gunza, age 71, of Davidsonville, Maryland, previously of Beacon Heights, Maryland, died of natural causes at her home on Tuesday, December 30, 2008. She retired from the Federal Government as an accountant in 1987. Her last six years of employment being at the Department of Health and Human Services in Rockville, Maryland. She was a devout member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville, Maryland, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and worked in the Outreach Program. She loved spending time with her family, in particular attending her grandchildren's sporting events. She is survived by her husband, Richard Gunza of the home address, a daughter, Connie Holley of Owings, Maryland, a son, Richard S. Gunza of Cincinnati, Ohio, 2 brothers, Joseph Kubala of Cobb Island, Maryland and Stanley Kubala of Columbia, South Carolina. She is also survived by five grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to Mary Ann's Life Celebration on Thursday, January 1 from 3 to 5PM at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, January 2 at 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel, 826 W. Central Ave. Davidsonville, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
