Mary Harley - Obituary

ary Audrey Harley was born in Oxon Hill, Maryland, on June 24th, 1928 to Sidney and Carrie Proctor. She departed this life on June 26, 2011 at Southern Maryland Hospital. She graduated from Sojourner Truth Elementary School and attended Frederick Douglass High School. Audrey was a very caring and kind person who was always willing to help others. She enjoyed the times that she traveled to Rome, Italy, Athens, Greece, Hawaii, California, Florida and many other places with her family and friends. Audrey enjoyed the bus trips to Atlantic City to play the slots with her daughter-in-law Patricia. One of her favorite things to do was work in the yard with her beautiful flowers. Audrey has been preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Harley, her brothers, Sidney Proctor, Sherman Proctor, Comillious Proctor, Maurice Proctor and sisters, Elizabeth Queen, Rebecca Proctor, and daughter-in-law, Patricia Ann Harley. Audrey leaves to mourn, her son Ronald Harley, Grandson, Kevin Harley, Granddaughter, Monica Harley. She leaves behind her sisters, Deloris Proctor and Mary Delia Briscoe. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends. Audrey will certainly be missed. Our love for her and beautiful memories will last forever.
