Mary Catherine Ingorvate

Mary C. Ingorvate, 98, a long-time resident of Annapolis, Maryland passed away on July 23, 2018. She was born March 6,1920 in Youngstown, Ohio. She was the sixth of ten children of Alfredo S. and Theresa M. Faustino. She is survived by two loving sisters; Ann Vuletich and Fanny DiDomenico. On July 26, 1941 she married Harry Ingorvate and they lived in Youngstown, Ohio until 1946 they moved to Washington, D.C.
In 1950, they bought their first house in Silver Spring, Maryland. Mary worked full time raising their two children. In 1984 she moved to Heritage Harbour in Annapolis. Over the years, Mary worked for the Bank of America and later worked at The Coffee Merchant in Annapolis Mall. Mary loved to cook especially Italian food. Her hobbies included reading books, playing cards, playing the organ, using her computer and iPad. She took pride in making clothes, rosaries for the troops and knitting pink and blue hats for the new born babies leaving the hospital. Mary is survived by her two children Maryann Collins (Daniel) and Hank Ingorvate (Tanya) and five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She had many great friends and touched the lives of all that she met. There will be a huge hole in our lives, but we know she will forever watch over us and we will continue to live life with the passion that she shared.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 27,2018 at 10:30 at St. John Neumann Church, 620 Bestgate Rd. in Annapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
