ary Magdalene Jackson, 87, a resident of Edgewater, MD for over 56 years died on September 27, 2008 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of natural causes. Born on January 3, 1921 in Baltimore, MD, she worked at Admiral Cleaners in Edgewater, MD for over 40 years. She loved her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of George G.E. Jackson, whom she married in 1940 and who died in 1972; mother of Thomas Jackson of Friendship, MD, Robert Jackson of Friendship, MD, Linda Lonergen of Annapolis, MD and the late George Jackson, whom died earlier this year; sister of William Taylor of Delaware, Jeanette Bavis of Baltimore, MD, Doris Crossman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and the late John and Bud Taylor; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild. Friends are invited to Mary's Life Celebration on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A funeral service will be offered on Thursday, October 2 at 11am at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 W. Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
