Mary Kraemer Hamilton - Obituary

ary Kraemer Hamilton "Mary Lou" passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband E. Gordon Hamilton. She was born in Meridan, CT on August 26, 1934, to the late Francis and Anna Kraemer. She attended St. Joseph School. Mary Lou spent 25 years in Fairfax, VA then moved to Edgewater where she lived for the last 32 years. She spent time with a family friend and joined the civic association. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.. Mary Lou leaves three children, Mark Hamilton, Trish Swasko (David) and Chris Hamilton; three grandchildren Abbey, Justin and Noah; her brother Frank Kraemer; sister Anne "Nancy" Kraemer Wertz (Dave); two step-grandsons, Bradley and Conner and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Katherine Kraemer and Jane Dubuc; her brother John "Jack" Kraemer. The family would like to express their deep appreciation for Joan Stillinger, RN and Dr. Gallatin and the other staff and volunteers of the Hospice of the Chesapeake. A private memorial is planned.
