ary Anna Ledson, 62, a 30-year resident of Davidsonville, died of cancer June 15 in her home.
Mrs. Ledson was born Nov. 8, 1945, in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1963 and attended Prince George's Community College and Bob Jones University.
She worked for Ardmore Enterprises in Mitchellville from 1968 to 1997, then worked for Vocational Services Inc. from 1997 to 2006.
She was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Fellowship in Landover Hills, where she played the organ for 20 years. She was also a member of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship in Davidsonville.
Survivors include her husband of over 40 years, Francis "Moose" Ledson; one son, Patrick Ledson of Davidsonville; one daughter, Rebekah Hardin of Edgewater; two sisters, Evelyn "Ebbie" Bickford of Davidsonville and Jeannette Noska of Spring, Texas; and three grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 Central Ave. in Davidsonville. Interment will be in Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
