ary Ann Mills, 62, a five-year resident of Chesapeake Beach, and previously of Davidsonville, died at her home on Saturday, May 19.
Born September 30, 1949 in Washington, D.C. to the late David and Mary Poole, she was a graduate of Elizabeth Seton High School, and worked as an accountant for Poole Accounting, LLC.
Mary Ann was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville and enjoyed bowling, spending time with her family and at the beach, and was a real people person who loved children.
She is survived by her companion, Rusty Kuhns of Chesapeake Beach and her former husband Thomas Mills of Davidsonville, her two sons; Craig Jocius of Annapolis and Kevin Mills of Minot, North Dakota; four brothers, Michael Poole of Blue Ridge, VA, John Poole of York, PA, Joseph Poole of Edgewater and the late David Poole.
Friends are invited to Mary Ann’s Life Celebration on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, May 24 at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Rd., Ste. D, Timonium, MD 21093.
