ary Margaret “Taffy” Mohr, 84, of Heritage Harbour in Annapolis and previously of Cheverly, passed away on September 26. Born in Baltimore to the late Walter D. and Mary Noppenberger Rafferty, Taffy graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame and the Bard Avon School of Business. Taffy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved playing games, watching sports and spending summers in Ocean City.
Taffy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Larry Mohr, and her brother, Joseph Rafferty. She is survived by her son, Stanley Mohr of Annapolis; three daughters, Lucy (Jack) Kaeufer of Ocean Pines; Cindy (Dwight) Haldeman of Nashville, TN, Clare (Ty) Brady of Annapolis; and three grandsons, Christopher, Matthew and Tyler Brady.
Friends are invited to Taffy’s Life Celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, September 29 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
