ary Marguerite Peck (nee Guy), 87, a 16-year resident of Annapolis, MD died on December 10, 2010 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood, MD. Born September 8, 1923 in Loveville, MD to the late Sarah Ann and Henry Jerome Guy. She was employed with C & P Telephone and the Prince George’s Count y Schools. She loved crab cakes, Irish coffee and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary’s hobbies included reading, gardening and travelling. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Peck, who died in 1983; devoted mother of Pamela Williams of Riva, MD, Mary Reynolds of Lothian, MD, Jeffrey Peck of Crofton, MD, John Peck of Greenbackville, VA, Robert Peck of Gambrills, MD and Michael Peck of Daytona Beach, FL; grandmother of Jennifer Reese, Rebecca Davis, and James, Thea and Christian Peck and Christine Ivey and Kellie Saragusa; great-grandmother of Hayden, Piper and Finley Davis, Nathan and Jackson Ivey, Christian and Joey Saragusa, Maggie, Grayson, Micah and the late Kaden Reese; sister of the late Mildred Johnson, Iva Tippett, Julia Farr, Mamie Thompson, Catherine Hardesty, Gladys Krastel, Clyde, Alvin, Woodrow and Henry Guy, Jr. Friends are invited to Mary’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Wednesday from 5 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, December 16 at 11am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 101 Owensville Road, West River, MD. Interment private.
