Mary Rea - Obituary

ary Lou Rea Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Rea, 81, a resident of Davidsonville for 36 years, died of cancer June 29 at home after a two-year illness. Born July 22, 1925, in Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Rea attended nursing school. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville. Surviving are her husband, Donald A. Rea, whom she married in 1951; two sons, Donald A. Rea Jr. of Baltimore and John Rea of Annapolis; three daughters, Francesca Douglas and Anthonia Rea, both of Annapolis, and Christina Rea-Felton of Silver Spring; and 11 grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Joe and Evelyn Baron. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 Central Ave., Davidsonville. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Cemetery on Owensville Road in West River. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
