Mary Anne Wallace - Obituary

ary Anne Wallace passed away peacefully at her home in Edgewater, Maryland, on December 13, 2021. Mary Anne was born on January 30, 1939, in Utica, New York. Mary Anne was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, friend, Registered Nurse and a Believer in the Lord. Mary Anne spent her later years giving tours at the United States Naval Academy where she also worked in the pharmacy with her husband. Her spirit for volunteering and support for the military also lead to the sponsoring of several Midshipmen over the years and making rosaries for the Ranger Rosary Organization. Mary Anne is survived by her husband of 60 years, James "Jim" Arthur Wallace, her children John and Jennifer (Sismour) Wallace of Gibsonia, PA; Cathy Wallace of Edgewater, MD; Kevin and Carey (Bell) Wallace of Hilton Head Island, SC; and Rob and Carol (Dunn) Wallace of Gainesville, VA; Her grandchildren Michael, Sarah, Emma, Morgan, Lindsay, Addison and Grant. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, December 16th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD.
