Mary Jane Hamilton - Obituary

ary Jane Hamilton, 86, a resident of the Annapolis area and previously of Silver Spring, MD, passed away peacefully at her home in Edgewater, MD on Saturday, February 20 of natural causes. Born on October 24, 1934 in Four Oaks, NC to the late Henderson and Irene Upchurch, Mary Jane earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from East Carolina University. With her late husband, William “Bill” Hamilton, she owned and operated the W.A. Hamilton Co., Inc. Mary Jane is survived by her children, Michael Hamilton of Washington, DC, Philip C. and Glenn A. Hamilton both of Edgewater, MD and Kimberly Shoraka of Rockville, MD; her brother, Henderson C. (Sarah Joe) Upchurch of Waynesboro, GA, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
