Mathias G. Mueller - Obituary

athias Gerard Mueller, Jr., “Gerry”, a 28-year resident of Davidsonville and previously of Annapolis, MD, passed away on February 20, 2018 at his home. He was 76. Born on September 18, 1941 in Crownsville, MD to the late Regina and Mathias Mueller, Sr., Gerry served in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s then pursued a career as a construction estimator. An avid Orioles and Ravens fan, he also enjoyed NASCAR races. Gerry is survived by two sons, Marc Mueller of Davidsonville and Mathias Mueller III of Lusby, MD; one daughter, Erin Jones of Crownsville; four sisters, Judy Raley and Helen Clarke, both of St. Inigoes, MD, Margaret Adams of Marrietta, GA and Loretta Orwig of Great Mills, MD; and three grandsons, Cooper and Tyson Jones and Aiden Mueller. Friends are invited to celebrate Gerry’s life with his family from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 4 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD where his funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 5. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
