Mathilda Wurst - Obituary

athilda “Mickey” Helen Wurst, 83, an 8 year resident of Annapolis and previously of Wayne, New Jersey passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center on April 22, 2008 of Renal Failure after a 6 month illness. Born January 4, 1925 in Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, she graduated High School in Newark, New Jersey. She was employed in the admissions department at Wayne General Hospital in Wayne, New Jersey. She was a member of the New Jersey Secretaries Association. Her hobbies included reading, opera, history and coins. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward Wurst, who passed away December 26, 1962. She divorced from her first husband, Anthony J. Trope in June of 1952 after a 11 year marriage. She is also predeceased by her daughter, Valerie Jean Trope; her parents, Frank Joseph and Lilian Schick Hoffarth; her grandparents Xavier and Anna Weinnerberger Hoffarth. Survivors include her niece, Carol Ann Gass of Annapolis, Maryland and her nephews, Joseph and Edward Hoffarth, both of Union Beach, New Jersey. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
