Melissa Ashley Weiss - Obituary

elissa Ashley Weiss of Odenton, MD was born on May 13, 1987 and God granted her angel wings on September 9, 2016. Melissa's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her infectious laugh and bright smile, understand that the quality of her existence far exceeded the quantity of time that she lived. Her beautiful Heavenly soul will forever be present in the lives of her family and friends. Melissa is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Nagle Weiss; her father, Mark Alan Weiss; her stepmother, Charlene Hodak; her siblings, Mark James Weiss, Matthew Joseph Weiss and Megan Ann (Andrew Peter) Daise; her nephew, Matthew Joseph Weiss, Jr.; her grandparents, James and Linda Nagle, Mary and Gary Weiss and Delores Weiss; her step-siblings, Callie Dugovich and Chris Dugovich and her beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and her two puppies, who she loved and adored, Baby and Mason Weiss. Friends are invited to celebrate Melissa' life on Wednesday, September 14 from 10:30am until a Mass of Christian Burial is offered at 11:30am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a children's charity of one's choice, as children held a huge space in Melissa's heart. You may also use the donation link on the left.
