Melvin Asquith - Obituary

elvin Pearson Asquith “Mel”, 71, a 15-year resident of Riva, died at his home on October 6 of natural causes. He was born November 4, 1938 in Annapolis. Mel was a parking garage attendant in Annapolis and enjoyed restoring and collecting antique slot machines, playing slots in Atlantic City, holding and going to yard sales, and playing the guitar for friends and family. Mel was predeceased by his parents, Peter P. Aisquith and Doris R. Brown and his brother, Harry R. Asquith. He is survived by one sister, Deborah Snyder of Glen Burnie. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 12, at 11 a.m. in the cemetery at All Hallows Brick Church, 3604 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037.
