Merle Bodycomb - Obituary

erle Bodycomb, 69, died on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. She was the beloved wife of Walter C. Bodycomb, III; daughter of the late James and Anne Gemmell; mother of Karen Bright, Kristin Guenther and Andrew Steele; stepmother of Michael Bodycomb, David Bodycomb, Cindy Bodycomb and Debbie Miller; grandmother of Kristin Bright; step grandmother of Arianna and Ava Bodycomb; great grandmother of Skylar Bright. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to Merle's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where services will be held on Saturday, June 27 at 10:00 A.M. followed by interment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and/or the Salvation Army.
