ichael "Mike" Kelly Kline, 42, of Glen Burnie, MD, passed on January 27, 2018. Formerly of the Bowie and Crofton area, Michael was born November 11, 1975, and attended and graduated Arundel High School in 1994. He continued his education at RETS Technical School in Baltimore where he received a degree in electronics, microcomputer, robotic and automated system technologies. He was employed at Simplex/Grinnell from 1999 - 2016 programming, installing, and diagnosing commercial fire alarm systems and went on to work for Wolf Creek/Chugach Federal Services in 2016 as a fire alarm systems mechanic. Michael enjoyed life through simple pleasures: spending time with family and friends, working on cars, attending car shows, and racing in autocross. Michael excelled at autocross winning National championships and various local events. He was always available to help others with a patient attitude and smiling face. The "go-to-fix-it-man," Michael was one of the best at anything mechanical. He had a kind heart towards animals and loved his two cats, Lucy and Pepper. Michael was truly one of a kind and a brother to many. Shortly before his illness, Michael met and fell in love with his angel, Valerie Farret. She remained by his side each day through his struggles and tears, helping and nurturing him. Michael passed away on their six month anniversary and shortly after their marriage on January 21, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Kathy Kline, his father- Gerry Kline, mom- Sandy Kline, brother- Clayton Brault and wife, Tara, two nieces- Rylee and Peighton, and nephew- Mason. Also, surviving grandmothers - Nancy Jeffries and Lois Buie. Uncles John Fisher. Jerry, Willy, Danny and Aunt Nellie. Family, friends, and others whose lives where touched by Michael are invited to celebrate Mike's life on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 12 pm until a funeral service will begin at 1 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Interment at Ivy Hill Cemetery will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Mike's memory to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
