ichael Kenneth Miller, “Mike”, age 59, a resident of Annapolis died on October 21, 2014 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of natural causes. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Kenneth and Patricia Miller, Mike was a graduate of Crossland High School in Temple Hills, MD. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1976 and worked as a stonemason with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). He enjoyed gun collecting, playing cards, cooking and spending time with his family. Mike is survived by his wife, Ania Miller whom he married on September 3, 1994; children, Shannon Moses of Canonsburg, PA, Kathryn Koch of Newburg, MD, Adam Miller of Upper Marlboro, MD, Marisa Miller of La Plata, MD and Angie Owens and Ricky Moore, II both of Mechanicsville, MD; sisters, Dorothy Brannan, Suzanne Estep and Julie Litz, all of Athens, AL, Marianne Miller of Waldorf, MD and Katherine Carter of MD; brothers, John Miller of Damascus, MD and Christopher Miller of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Jay Williams and Thomas Koch both of Newburg, MD, Kobe and Tyler Owens, Makayla and Lil’ Ricky Moore, III all of Mechanicsville, MD and his beloved dogs, Harrigan and Vixen. Family and friends are invited to Mike’s Life Celebration on Saturday, October 25 from 2 to 6pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
